To Our Beloved Community - A Note From Our Owner
As an active member of this community, I have always centered my business around the premise of family and community. These values were always an integral part of my culture and upbringing, so we strive to keep these ideas alive in our workplace at Le Gabrielle.

Wednesday morning at Apalachee High School, many of our worlds came to a halt. What should have been a normal day of students learning, quickly turned to tragedy. This incident delivered a somber blow to our community as parents, students, and faculty members scrambled to reconnect with one another, praising God that their loved ones made it out okay. As a father myself, (Our son is a Senior at WBHS) my wife and I were feeling all of the same fear and sadness that our community experienced yesterday. However, not all families within our community were given the ability to reconnect with their loved ones; some of our loved ones had been selfishly stolen away from us in the blink of an eye. When we learned the news that one of our very own team members lost a family member in this incident, it devastated us to our core.

Christian Angulo was 14 years old and was just beginning his freshman year at Apalachee High School before having his future stolen from him. We have been sending our thoughts and prayers to the Angulo family and will continue to do whatever is necessary to support the community and family during this difficult time.

In honor of Christian and the other victims of this devastating event, we have decided to hold a fundraiser for the Angulo family this Saturday, September 7th at both of our Le Gabrielle locations. 10% of all sales collected from our restaurants in Winder and Monroe will be donated directly to the family. We know that no amount of money can replace the life of a loved one, but we feel that this is the least we can do to honor Christian and the Angulo family.

Additionally, the Angulo family has started a GoFundMe to help cover funeral and other expenses. If you would like to make a donation directly to the family or the other families affected please visit the links below.

To all the families in our community affected by this tragedy, our hearts are breaking for you during this tough time. However, please know that our Le Gabrielle family will be here to support you in any way that you need. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the other families who lost their loved ones during this tragedy.

With Love,
Le Gabrielle and The Jimenez Family
